Stir well before and occasionally during use. Apply several thin coats of ‘GLOWMAX Sealcoat’ with sprayer, brush, pad or lint-free muslin cloth. Multiple thin coats are more effective than 1 or 2 thick coats. Apply evenly and allow drying for 20 to 30 minutes before sanding with 120 or finer grit sandpaper. The subsequent coats should be let dry for 20 to 30 minutes before sanding and recoating. It completely dries in less than 1 hour and can be sanded & coated with ‘GLOWMAX Topcoat’ subsequently.
Methods:
Wiping

Dilute ‘GLOWMAX Shellac Finish & Sealer’ with Thinner/ Moisture-less Spirit in the ratio of upto 1:3 when applying with a muslin cloth pad. Apply the mixture with gentle pressure over the wood surface, in the direction of the grains, till desired result is achieved.
Brushing

For best results use a 2” or 3” natural bristle or high quality synthetic bristle brush. Dip half the length of the bristles into the container containing GLOWMAX and lightly tap the flat side of the brush against the side of the container. Apply to the surface following the wood grains and using full, even strokes. When applying to vertical surfaces, avoid drips and runs by loading the brush with a little less solution. Avoid Excessive brushing. Dilute with NC/Retarder Thinner in the ratio 1:2 or more if required.
Sprayer

GLOWMAX can be spray applied using conventional, HVLP or air-less systems. Use a 0.011 to 0.013 tip and 800 to 1000 psi for spray application (Follow Equipment manufacturers instructions). While spraying GLOWMAX, do it in the direction of the wind.
